The feature looks simple from the screen. The useful part is the rule behind it.
After a week of recording plant care, the useful part is not a perfect streak. It is the handful of small questions I no longer have to answer from memory.
What GrowBook does
I can see that the fern was watered on Tuesday, the succulent was skipped because the soil was still damp, and the plant beside the balcony door has needed water sooner since the weather warmed up. None of this is dramatic. It is enough to stop me repeating the same mistake.
The boundary I kept
GrowBook keeps those notes, photos and reminders together. The free version covers the basic plant list, care tracking, journal and on-device identification, so you can test the routine before deciding whether the advanced tools matter to you.
If you try it this week, tell me which step feels awkward. That is more useful to me than a polite “looks nice.”
