Amazon has rebranded its Kindle Unlimited service to Kindle+, bringing thousands of new audiobooks to the platform and opening catalog inclusion to self-published authors via Kindle Direct Publishing.
Pricing and borrowing limits remain unchanged.
According to an information message sent by the company to subscribers, the price remains unchanged at $12 per month, while the limit of 20 titles for simultaneous borrowing continues to apply. All saved books, notes, bookmarks and reading history will be transferred to the new service as normal.
What's changing in the collection?
The major addition is thousands of new audiobooks joining the platform. In addition, self-published authors can now include their audiobooks in their subscription. At the same time, the company is testing a new feature that can create audiobooks read by an artificial voice.
The service is already operating under the new name and is available both through the application and from the company's special reading devices.
