Today, I'm releasing Focus Timer with Break Nudges, a new tool from QuackBuilds. This is a straightforward Python script designed to help users maintain focus during work sessions and transition back from short breaks.
The script operates as a simple focus timer. You define your work intervals, and the timer runs in the background. When a short break is scheduled, the script provides gentle nudges to remind you to return to your task once the break period is ending. The intention behind these nudges is to reinforce consistent work habits and help build focus gradually over time. It's built for those who find value in structured work periods and need a light prompt to stay on track.
This isn't a complex application; it's a command-line utility. The aim is to provide a functional, minimal tool that does one thing: supports consistent work intervals with subtle reminders. If you're looking for a simple, no-frills focus aid, this might be useful.
