🚀 Security - Unauth Devfile API in OpenShift Console

OpenShift console routes can be accessed by anyone who can reach the route, allowing them to poke internal cluster services without login. This is due to an unauthenticated Devfile API. Lock down the route, then watch for the errata.

Key Points:

Unauthenticated Devfile API: The Devfile API in OpenShift console is not authenticated, allowing anyone to access internal cluster services.
CVE-2026-75885: This vulnerability is identified as CVE-2026-75885.
Lock down the route: To mitigate this issue, lock down the route to only allow authorized access.
Watch for errata: Keep an eye on the errata for any updates or patches related to this vulnerability.

🚀 AI - GPU and Memory Bandwidth

A bigger GPU doesn't make single-user inference faster. Every token from a 70B model = reading all 70 GB of FP8 weights. H200 moves 4.8 TB/s. That's ~68 tok/s, hard ceiling, for one user on one card. Memory bandwidth sets the ceiling. Compute just decides how close you get.

Key Points:

GPU and memory bandwidth: The conversation highlights the importance of memory bandwidth in single-user inference.
70B model: The 70B model requires reading all 70 GB of FP8 weights for every token.
H200 moves 4.8 TB/s: The H200 moves 4.8 TB/s, which sets the ceiling for memory bandwidth.
Memory bandwidth sets the ceiling: Memory bandwidth determines the maximum speed of single-user inference.

🚀 AI - LLM Reasoning and Execution

We achieved a breakthrough at BTL. AI models are very linear. They think in one direction at a time, and when they're wrong they scramble and start again. For something meant to replace humans, that's way too human. We changed that. We made LLM reasoning and execution work more

Key Points:

LLM reasoning and execution: The breakthrough at BTL involves improving LLM reasoning and execution.
Linear thinking: AI models are linear, thinking in one direction at a time.
Scrambling and starting again: When AI models are wrong, they scramble and start again, which is too human-like.
Improved LLM reasoning and execution: The breakthrough improves LLM reasoning and execution, making it more efficient.
