Use the standard scheme (WGS-84 coordinates):

Include a ?q= label when the pin needs a human-readable name on the map sheet. Encode the full string — the generator does not geocode addresses for you.
Tip: put geo QR on trail kiosks, farm-stand signs, parking-lot meetup posts, and equipment drop-off tags where GPS beats street addresses.
