Conference season means swapping contact info. The usual playbook: pay ~$49/month for a hosted QR platform that tracks every scan, or paste a vCard into a free generator and move on.
Static vCard QR codes are enough for most events. You encode your contact once, print it on a badge or slide, and people scan to save your number. No dashboard, no renewal, no analytics you will never open.

Why not the $49/month tools?
Dynamic QR services make sense when you need to change the destination after printing — menu URLs that rotate, campaign A/B tests, scan analytics. For a fixed vCard on a lanyard, static is honest and free.
