These characters are fictional / virtual identities used to explain the system.

They do not automatically imply that the represented technology is fully implemented, that an institution endorses MyZubster, or that a collaboration is formal.

That distinction is now explicitly part of the canon.

2. Metasploit Sentinel is now a real MyZubster visual character

One of the most concrete additions is Metasploit Sentinel.

Sentinel represents the authorized defensive-security side of the ecosystem.

Its canonical workflow is:DISCOVER

   ↓

This is important because the character is intentionally not presented as an autonomous exploitation bot.

The focus is defensive validation, scope control, evidence and remediation.

A contributor has already produced a visual set for the character, and that contribution has been merged into the visual repository.

3. External relationships are now mapped without turning real people into fictional characters

Another important improvement is the new relationship bridge between project correspondence and the MyZubster narrative.

Instead of turning external contacts into characters, MyZubster now uses privacy-safe role archetypes.

These roles connect to the virtual characters without pretending that a discussion automatically means a formal partnership.

The key rule is:

An email, meeting or introduction is evidence of a conversation — not automatically evidence of funding, endorsement or partnership.

That rule is now part of the project documentation.

4. MyZubster now has a digital identity artifact model

We also created a digital identity package for MyZubster.

It includes:

a visual identity asset,
metadata,
SHA-256 integrity hashes,
a manifest,
an off-chain technical identity document,
and instructions for future provenance anchoring.

Originally we explored the idea as an NFT-style package.

For Monero, however, the model was adjusted.

Monero does not provide native ERC-721-style NFTs, so the correct terminology is now closer to:

The current model is:

The important part is that we do not call something “minted” or “anchored” until there is a real transaction proving it.

5. Historical Monero transaction references are now separated from the new identity artifact

We also documented several older Monero transaction references connected to MyZubster-related activity.

These are now treated as historical payment / provenance references.

They are not retroactively considered identity anchors.

That distinction matters.

A transaction that happened before an artifact existed cannot magically prove the hash of an artifact created later.

So the current model is:

This keeps the evidence model honest.

6. The Monero wallet integration will be rebuilt from scratch

The existing wallet setup had reliability problems, so the next technical direction is to rebuild the Monero integration cleanly.

The intended sequence is:

receive/send tests
   ↓
confirmation logic
   ↓

   ↓
backup / recovery
   ↓
mainnet only after validation

Old transactions remain in the historical record.

They do not need to be discarded just because the current wallet infrastructure is being rebuilt.

7. A large new visual batch was imported from Drive

The visual repository also received a significant cleanup and import pass.

New or newly organized assets include:

The latest import was merged through GitHub PR #13.

During the import we also found an interesting bug.

One file named:

myzubster-onion-health-probe-cyberpunk.png

was initially committed as if it were an image.

Git showed:

146 insertions

That was the warning sign.

The file was actually an HTML Google login page saved with a .png extension.

We removed the bad file, downloaded the real image again, and restored it as a proper binary asset.

That led to another useful improvement.

8. .gitattributes now explicitly protects binary visual assets

The repository now contains rules that force common visual/document formats to be handled as binary.

This includes formats such as:

*.png
*.jpg
*.jpeg
*.webp
*.gif
*.ico
*.pdf

That reduces the chance that Git will accidentally treat visual assets as text in future imports.

The fixed Onion Health Probe asset was then re-added, and GitHub correctly reported no text patch for it.

9. PR #13 is now merged into main

The Drive visual import and binary-handling cleanup have now been merged into main.

Merge commit:

This means the canonical visual repository now contains the new assets and the binary safety rules together.

10. The bigger picture

The interesting part is not any single asset.

The project is gradually becoming an evidence graph.

The virtual characters sit on top of this graph as an interface for humans.

They help explain what each layer is supposed to do.

But the evidence still has to come from real repositories, files, transactions, measurements and public sources.

That separation between story and proof is becoming one of the core design principles of MyZubster.

What's next

The next major technical steps are:

rebuild the Monero wallet integration,
test it on stagenet,
connect verified transaction references to the new identity/provenance model,
continue importing and cataloguing public-safe visual evidence,
create more contributor-generated comics,
refine MRV and environmental pilot workflows,
and continue connecting real-world observations to reproducible GitHub evidence.

The long-term goal remains the same:

Build an open ecosystem where environmental observations, robotics, AI, contributors, visual storytelling and verifiable digital evidence can coexist without confusing claims, concepts and proof.
