Warp Terminal
The terminal reimagined for developers.
GPU-accelerated terminal with AI command suggestions, command palette, and IDE-like editing in the shell.
About Warp Terminal
Warp is a modern, GPU-accelerated terminal emulator built from scratch in Rust. It reimagines everything about the traditional terminal: text entry works like a text editor with cursor positioning, selection, and copy-paste that actually makes sense. Command output is grouped into "blocks" so you always know which output belongs to which command.
Warp AI is built in — type a description in natural language and Warp generates the command. If a command fails, Warp can explain why and suggest a fix. The `#` shortcut opens an AI prompt from anywhere in the terminal.
Warp supports shareable workflows (reusable multi-step command sequences), a command palette, custom themes, and fast startup. While it started as macOS-only, Linux and Windows support have been added. It's one of the most ambitious attempts to modernize the terminal experience.
