About Hoppscotch

Hoppscotch (previously known as Postwoman) is a fast, free, and open-source API request builder. It runs directly in the browser, requires no installation, and is an excellent lightweight alternative to Postman for developers who prefer simplicity.

Hoppscotch supports REST, GraphQL, WebSocket, Server-Sent Events, and Socket.IO. It has a beautiful minimal UI with dark/light/system themes and keyboard shortcuts for everything. Authentication helpers, environment variables, pre-request scripts, and test scripts are all supported.

Being fully open-source, Hoppscotch can be self-hosted on your own infrastructure. The Pro/Team tier adds persistent workspaces, team collaboration, and admin access. For developers who hate how heavy Postman has become, Hoppscotch is a breath of fresh air.
