If you work in Salesforce every day, you know the small frictions. Open Setup to find a flow. Open the Developer Console to read a log. Run a query in one tool, check a profile in another, build a change set for two components. Each one is only a minute, but they add up.
So I built Salesforce Quick Access, a free Chrome (and Edge) extension that puts the tasks I do most into one sidebar. This post is a tour of what's in it.
No extra login
The extension reads the Salesforce session you already have open in your browser and makes requests as you. There's no server of mine in the middle, and nothing to sign in to. Your settings, pins and saved queries live in the browser's extension storage, on your computer.
Find things fast
- Search everything (Ctrl+K). One search box for objects, flows, profiles, permission sets, users, Apex classes and fields.
- Pinned. Star anything you open often. Pins are kept per org.
- Configurations. Your org's metadata in one expandable list, each with a filter. On flows there's a Clean up versions button that removes old inactive versions and never touches the active one.
- Users. The active users, with quick actions like logging in as one of them.

Look at records and data
- Record Inspector. Open any record and a small Inspect tab shows every field in one table: API name, label, type, value. Filter it, copy it as TSV, edit a value in place, see a field's history, and find where a custom field is used.
-
Data export. A SOQL editor with suggestions. It completes fields (including parent fields like
Account.Owner.Name), offersFIELDS(ALL), and suggests picklist values after=. Results can be copied or downloaded as CSV. Click an Id to open it in the Inspector or in Salesforce. The last 20 queries per org are saved on your computer.

Clean up and fix
- Find references. Paste a record Id and see everything that points to it. It only reads.
- Delete by ID. Paste an Id and it identifies the object before it deletes anything.
- Change owner. Move a user's Leads, Accounts, Contacts or Opportunities to someone else, with a backup file first.
Permissions
- Grant access. Give many profiles access to Apex classes, Visualforce pages, fields and objects in one go.
- Compare access. Pick two profiles or permission sets and see how they differ. It starts with a plain-language verdict ("Sales Manager can do everything Sales Rep can, and more"), then the matrix. It only reads.

Debug logs
- Clear debug logs in bulk.
- Log Analyzer. A readable breakdown of a log instead of a wall of text: what ran, how long it took, with filters and a jump to the exact line in the raw log.
Ship your changes
This is the part I use most.
- Recent changes. What changed in the org lately, and who changed it. It opens on your own changes from today and yesterday.
- Quick Deploy. Moves a few components to another org you're logged into, with no change set. It handles Apex classes and triggers, LWC, Aura, Visualforce pages and components, custom fields, custom labels, flows, validation rules and custom metadata records. You validate first, and production asks you to type the org name before it enables Deploy.
- My work. Group the components for one story or task as you change them, keep notes and pre- and post-deployment steps, then send the whole group to Quick Deploy in one click. It's what I use instead of a text file with a list of components.

Small things
- Clear cache. Reloads a tab as if you pressed Ctrl+Shift+R, every time, if you want it.
- JSON beautifier and string converter. Format JSON, or turn a list of items into a SQL IN clause.
- Light and dark themes, and any tool can pop out into its own window so it stays open while you work.
Safe by design
Most tools only read. The ones that change something are clearly marked, ask before they do, and say what can't be undone:
- Record Inspector edits save straight to the org, with no undo.
- Delete by ID is permanent.
- Change owner makes a backup first.
- Quick Deploy always offers Validate only, and production needs a typed confirmation.
Honest limits
- Quick Deploy is for small deployments: 25 components per run. It doesn't work out dependencies, so if a flow uses a new field, include both.
- Compare access shows what's granted explicitly. A permission that implies others (like Modify All Data) isn't expanded.
- I've tested it carefully, but not on every kind of org. If something behaves oddly in yours, I'd like to hear about it.
