The Patriots–Bears game on October 22 highlights how streaming availability can vary by region: it airs on Prime Video in the US and streams free on Australia’s 7Plus.
The article outlines how a VPN connection to an Australian server can provide access to geo-restricted content, alongside the game’s mobile viewing option through NFL+.
Where will it be broadcast in the US?
The match will be broadcast in the US via Amazon Prime Video. It will not be available on traditional cable TV or services that stream live TV channels over the internet.
NFL+ allows users to watch locally broadcast games, as well as games in the evening zone, on their mobile or tablet.
Free streaming in Australia
In Australia, the match is being broadcast for free on 7Plus. Those in another country can use a service that makes it appear as if they are connecting from Australia and then visit 7Plus.
