Roku has introduced its Pro Series LX OLED televisions, featuring 144Hz refresh rates, anti-reflective display filters, and enhanced peak brightness.
Available in 55-inch ($1,300) and 65-inch ($1,600) configurations exclusively on Amazon, the hardware targets high-motion gaming performance.
Roku announced its first OLED TVs in September, after years of releasing more affordable QLED TVs. It calls the LX its most advanced models yet.
The LX's screen refreshes 144 times per second, while the Pro Series OLED without LX refreshes 120 times. According to Roku, this makes the LX better suited for fast-paced action and shooter games. The company also says that they are brighter than the non-LX models, show a wider range of colors, and have a special filter that reduces reflections.
The remote has a rechargeable battery and allows for hands-free voice commands. Both series have a slim metal frame and a very thin top. They run on Roku OS and include pre-installed streaming apps. They also support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for picture, as well as Dolby Atmos for sound.
