This week in CAPTD: Get Clients mode, visual place recognition, and workspace updates

This week brought a major expansion to CAPTD, headlined by a brand new client acquisition workflow, automatic visual place recognition, and a complete theme switcher. Whether you are generating social captions for a fresh portfolio drop or marketing a new podcast episode, these updates help you publish faster and more accurately.

Get Clients Caption Goal: We introduced a new "Get clients" caption option alongside "Tell the story" across the Snapshot, Video, and Slideshow workspaces. It includes structured business details, smart call-to-action placement, and bug fixes to ensure your saved booking methods always take priority.

The Get clients mode and place chips are now easier to access on mobile and desktop.

Visual Place Recognition: Photos without GPS data are now automatically recognized using a downscaled upload and Gemini flash-lite before caption generation, helping place suggestion chips appear right where you need them.

Spotlight workspace (formerly Marketing) with new Episode mode and audio uploads.

Theme Switcher & Privacy Overhaul: Added a complete light, dark, and system theme switcher with zero FOUC across all pages and tools. Under the hood, we also rolled out a major privacy update introducing cookieless aggregate analytics and local font hosting.

Light, dark, and system themes are now supported seamlessly across every page.

Workspace & Resource Updates: The Spotlight workspace has been officially renamed to Spotlight, and Episode mode now supports audio uploads with transcription and chapter generation. Plus, we launched new camera settings guides for bodies like the Canon R5 Mark II and expanded our Academy lessons.
