Revamp helped me spend less time on prospecting and win website clients faster.

I was using it to prepare redesigned website concepts for potential customers. I could take a business’s existing website, develop a new direction, and use that concept in my pitch.

That gave me something specific to put in front of the person I wanted to work with. They could see a proposed direction for their own business while we discussed the opportunity.

For me, this was where Revamp became useful in the sales process. Its AI helped me get from an existing website to a redesign I could review and prepare for a pitch, with less time spent on that early work.

The concepts were a way to start a business conversation. I could show what I had in mind, explain why it suited the business, and discuss taking the project further.

That made prospecting more practical for me. I got to those conversations sooner, and the approach helped me bring in clients faster.

Giving a potential client something specific to consider

Selling website work involves asking someone to picture a result they do not yet have.

A business owner may understand that the website could be better while still finding it difficult to imagine what a redesign would look like. A description can explain the intention, but there is a lot left for that person to picture.

I used redesigned concepts to make the proposed direction visible.

Because the concept was based on the business’s existing website, I could make the pitch relevant to that particular company. Its identity and the way it presented its services gave the work a concrete starting point.

I could then show how I would approach the design and discuss the improvements I had in mind.

That was useful to me as the person pitching the work. I had a specific subject for the conversation, and the potential client had something to consider in relation to their own business.

The concept helped me make the opportunity easier to understand.

Starting with the prospect’s existing website

My starting point was a website address.

I could bring that into Revamp and let it develop a redesigned direction using the existing business as context. From there, I could review the preview and decide whether it was suitable for the pitch.

The existing website contained useful information: what the business did, how it described its services, and the identity it already used.

That context mattered. I wanted the redesign to feel connected to the business I was approaching.

I could look at how the opening section introduced the company, whether its work or services had enough prominence, and how clearly the page encouraged someone to get in touch.

Those decisions gave me a way to prepare the concept for a real conversation. I could choose what to emphasize and explain the reasoning behind the direction.

Revamp made that preparation easier to carry out. I could work from the business in front of me and shape a concept around the opportunity I saw.

Getting to a pitchable concept with less preparation

The reduction in prospecting time was a meaningful part of the experience.

Before a potential customer has agreed to a project, the preparation still takes effort. You need to understand the business and develop something that makes the proposed work worth considering.

Revamp helped me get through the redesign-concept part of that process faster.

I could generate a direction, review it, and request changes in the same workspace. That gave me a manageable way to prepare something I could use in the pitch.

I still made decisions about the result. I wanted the design to represent the business appropriately and give me a clear basis for explaining what I could offer.

The difference was how much easier it became to get to that point.

That mattered across prospecting work. A faster route to a suitable concept let me put the idea in front of a potential client sooner. The preparation became more proportionate to the stage of the relationship.

Making the pitch about the business

A redesigned concept gave me a way to talk about the potential customer’s own website.

I could bring the discussion back to what that business wanted people to understand and do. The concept made it easier to explain how I would present the services, give the business a stronger introduction, or make the next action clearer.

For a service company, that might mean giving a request for an estimate more prominence. For a business whose work is visual, the photographs might deserve more room.

Those are practical design decisions a business owner can assess in relation to their own needs.

I could use the concept to show my thinking and explain the direction I was proposing. It gave the pitch a relevant focus.

My role was still to understand the business and make a useful case for the work. Revamp helped me prepare the visual material that supported that conversation.

That combination made the approach valuable to me: a concept tied to a particular business, with my own judgment behind the pitch.

Using redesign concepts to win clients faster

The effect I noticed went beyond preparing concepts.

Using them in my pitches helped me get customers faster.

I could show the proposed direction while discussing the work, which gave the potential client a clearer sense of what I was offering. The business had something visible to consider as part of deciding whether to move ahead.

For me, the improvement ran through the early part of the sales process. I spent less time preparing the concept and could use it to make the opportunity more tangible.

That helped me move from identifying a prospect toward winning the work sooner.

The concept still needed to be relevant. I had to choose an appropriate direction and explain why I thought it suited the business. A design on its own does not make those decisions for you.

But having a practical way to prepare and use redesigned concepts changed what I could bring to a pitch. That was the result I valued most from this approach.

Keeping the work manageable across opportunities

Using this approach across different businesses also meant keeping each opportunity’s context clear.

The business information, the proposed direction, and the changes I wanted to make all belonged with that particular website.

A separate project gave me somewhere to develop the concept and return to it as needed. Client folders provided a way to organize the work.

That supported the prospecting process. I could keep track of what I was preparing and review the relevant website when I needed it.

I also explored the proposal tools alongside the previews. Having those parts of the workspace close together was useful when thinking about how to present the work.

The central job remained the same: prepare something relevant for the business I wanted to approach and use it to support the pitch.

Keeping the work organized helped that approach remain practical as I explored more opportunities.

Presenting a concept clearly

I treated the redesign as a proposed direction for the potential client to consider.

The concept gave me a way to introduce the visual approach and explain the opportunity. The complete website project would have its own scope, including the pages and functionality the business needed.

Keeping that distinction clear matters in a pitch. The potential client should understand what they are looking at and how it relates to the work being proposed.

I could use the concept as the starting point for that discussion.

I also wanted the business details and the presentation to make sense before putting it in front of someone. Reviewing the design was part of preparing the pitch.

A recognizable identity, appropriate images, and a clear purpose for the page all helped make the proposed direction easier to explain.

The point was to give the potential customer a useful view of what I had in mind and a concrete basis for discussing the project.

What I would repeat in my prospecting

I would start with a business whose website I could make a relevant proposal around.

I would use its existing website as context, prepare a redesigned direction, and review the concept before using it in a pitch. The work should give me something specific to explain about that business.

I would also keep the preparation focused on the decision at hand. At the prospecting stage, the concept needs to communicate a credible direction and make the opportunity understandable.

That is where Revamp helped me most.

It reduced the time I spent getting a redesign concept ready for prospecting, and using those concepts in pitches helped me win customers faster. I could spend more of the process discussing a visible idea with the business I wanted to work with.

If you pitch website work, you can explore Revamp for agency prospecting and client projects. My experience was that having a relevant redesign to show made the early work easier and helped me get to a client agreement sooner.
