I have been immersed in a lot of software stuff, some very good, some not that good. I was a software engineer for many years, but one of the roles where I learned more about product development was as a Product Manager after 5 years in that role.
I always was a quality advocate at heart, even during my developer phase, but I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my career as a QA engineer, and building testing tools as an SDET that were not only useful but easy to use.
I invite you to watch the first 2 episodes of Ivan Davidov's podcast where we both discuss QA Through the Lens of a Former PM Turned QA Engineer (truly yours!) 🙂
Episode 1: Why Sprints Really Break, From a PM Turned QA (ft. Sebastian Clavijo)
Episode 2 (cont.): Fake It Till You Make It Is BS: A Staff QA's Career Rules
I hope you find it insightful and enjoy watching it.
PS: We had a lot of fun recording it! 😄
Cheers!
