Ember introduces the Mug 3 smart mug, adding a physical base button for preset temperature control, a sliding lid, and dishwasher-safe hardware while retaining Bluetooth app connectivity.
The biggest change in this new model is that you no longer have to use the app on your phone to set the temperature. There's a button on the bottom of the mug that lets you choose between five preset temperatures, from 125 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you prefer to adjust via mobile, the company's app remains available via Bluetooth. You can use it for your own custom settings, as well as suggestions like 136 degrees for black coffee and 132 degrees for green tea.
The Mug 3 features a sliding lid, offers up to three hours of autonomy on a single charge, and can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher.
