There are already plenty of AI tools that can generate a logo.
That is not the interesting question anymore.
The question I wanted to test was more practical:
Can someone with no professional design workflow start with a brand name and get far enough to actually launch?
Not just one PNG.
A logo, colors, typography, social assets, business cards, and something that can stay visually consistent when the brand moves across different platforms.
So I tried Turbologo.
The starting point is intentionally simple
Turbologo does not begin by asking for a long creative brief.
You enter a business or brand name, choose an industry, and give it some visual direction.
The system then generates multiple logo options.
From there, you can continue editing:
- fonts
- colors
- icons
- layout
- spacing
That part is useful, but by itself it would only make Turbologo another AI logo generator.
The more interesting part starts after the logo.
The logo becomes the input for the rest of the brand
Once a visual direction is established, Turbologo can carry that identity into a broader Brand Kit.
That includes things such as:
- color palettes
- font combinations
- logo variations
- social media graphics
- business cards
- branded marketing assets
Turbologo also currently includes an AI website builder, so the same visual identity can continue from the logo into a website.
That changes the way I look at the product.
Instead of:
AI → generate an image
the workflow becomes:
brand name → logo → visual system → usable brand assets
That is a much more useful chain.
Why this matters for small projects
A founder or creator starting from zero normally has a fragmented problem.
You may need one tool for a logo.
Another for social graphics.
Another for a business card.
Another for a website.
Then you have to manually make all of them look like they belong to the same company.
That is where a lot of time disappears.
The difficult part is often not producing individual assets.
It is maintaining consistency between them.
If the logo uses one visual language, the Instagram profile another, and the website something completely different, the result immediately looks unfinished.
Turbologo's approach is to establish the identity first and reuse it across the rest of the output.
For a small company, creator project, side business, SaaS experiment, online store, or personal brand, that is a practical use of AI.
You can experiment before paying for the final files
Another detail I liked in the workflow is that you do not have to purchase a logo before seeing the result.
You can generate and edit designs first.
Payment becomes relevant when you want to download the final production files.
Depending on the package, Turbologo supports formats including:
- PNG
- JPEG
- SVG
SVG and PDF are especially relevant when the logo needs to move beyond a profile picture and into printing or larger-format use.
That distinction matters.
A low-resolution logo may look fine in a browser and fail immediately when someone tries to put it on packaging, a sign, a T-shirt, or printed material.
The real value is not “AI made my logo”
This is where I think people sometimes evaluate AI design tools incorrectly.
If the only question is:
“Can AI generate a logo?”
then the answer has been obvious for a while.
The better question is:
“How much of the distance between an idea and a usable brand can the tool remove?”
That is where Turbologo becomes more interesting.
A person without Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or a professional design workflow can go from a name to something much closer to an actual brand system.
It does not eliminate the need for taste.
You still have to decide which design fits the project.
You still have to reject weak options.
You still have to know what you want the brand to communicate.
AI does not make those decisions disappear.
What it can remove is a large amount of mechanical design work around those decisions.
Where I think it fits best
I would look at Turbologo mainly for:
- creators launching a new channel or project
- solo founders
- freelancers
- small businesses
- early-stage products
- side projects that need to look presentable quickly
- people who do not already have a designer or established brand system
For a large company doing a major rebrand, a dedicated professional design process is a different problem.
But for the person staring at a blank screen with nothing except a project name?
This type of tool makes much more sense.
My takeaway
The part of Turbologo worth paying attention to is not the AI logo generator in isolation.
It is the workflow around it.
You start with one decision — the identity of the brand — and reuse that decision across more of the things you actually need to launch.
That is a better application of AI than generating another disconnected image.
The useful question for AI tools in 2026 is increasingly simple:
Does the tool just create something impressive, or does it remove real work from a real workflow?
Turbologo is trying to solve the second problem.
Try it yourself
I used Turbologo for this test. You can generate and edit a logo before deciding whether you want to download the final assets.
