The CBSE Result 2026 is an important milestone for students completing Class 12, but the next step is equally important: choosing the right undergraduate course and college. Students considering careers in business, management, technology, or analytics can explore programmes such as BBA and BCA based on their interests, academic background, and long-term career goals.
Choosing Between BBA and BCA After Class 12
A BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is generally suited to students interested in business, management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and related fields. Modern BBA programmes may also include areas such as Data Science, Business Intelligence, FinTech, Digital Marketing, and Artificial Intelligence.
A BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) is more closely connected with computing and technology. Students can explore areas such as programming, software development, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and AI/ML.
The choice should therefore depend on the student's interests and preferred career direction rather than simply selecting a course based on popularity.
Check Eligibility Before Applying
Students should carefully verify the eligibility requirements of each institution before beginning the admission process. At RCM, the current admission procedure states that BBA applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board, with specified minimum marks and English as a compulsory subject. For BCA, applicants must have Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics as one of their subjects, along with the specified minimum marks.
Compare Specializations and Practical Learning
Beyond the degree title, students should compare specializations, curriculum, internships, live projects, industry certifications, faculty expertise, infrastructure, and placement support.
RCM's current BBA+ programme includes options such as Data Science & Business Intelligence, FinTech & FMVA, and AI-related learning, while its BCA+ programme focuses on industry-integrated technology education and practical exposure.
Students can also explore BBA Admission at RCM and BCA Admission at RCM for programme-specific information.
Conclusion
After receiving the CBSE Result 2026, students should take time to compare courses, eligibility criteria, specializations, learning opportunities, and career pathways before finalising their undergraduate admission.
