Implement a price-tracking script for Disney World hotel rooms to keep costs in check. In November, a room that normally costs $383 can be booked at that price if you monitor rate changes. A simple headless-browser scraper can pull the current price from the Disney booking page, parse the value, and trigger an alert when the price drops to $383 or lower.
For students, Disney's discount program offers an additional 10% reduction on the tracked price. At $383, that brings the cost to $344.3 (illustrative). Combine the discount with the price-tracking script and you can lock in a room for roughly $344.
Google's new AI-powered booking flow auto-fills traveler data and recommends the cheapest dates. Integrating this flow into your workflow can automate the entire booking process, from data entry to payment confirmation, reducing manual effort.
Key takeaways:
- Use a headless browser to scrape the Disney booking page.
- Parse the price and set a threshold (e.g., $383).
- Trigger an alert when the threshold is met.
- Apply the student discount program to reduce the final cost.
- Leverage Google's AI booking flow to automate data entry and date selection.
These steps keep the booking process efficient and budget-friendly for developers who want to automate travel reservations.
