Hey DEV Community! π
As a fan of souls-like games and a developer, I was eagerly waiting for the launch of Mortal Shell 2. When the game finally dropped on August 20, 2026, I immediately dove in.
However, I quickly ran into a common problem: finding reliable, up-to-date information was a hassle. Most wikis were either:
Full of ads and pop-ups.
Outdated (still showing Open Beta stats).
Missing crucial details about the new mechanics.
So, I decided to scratch my own itch and build a wiki that I would actually want to use.
π οΈ Introducing: Mortal Shell 2 Wiki
I just launched Mortal Shell 2 Wiki β an independent, source-tracked knowledge base for the game.
My goal was to create a clean, fast, and reliable resource that respects the user's time and intelligence.
What makes it different?
Source-Tracked Information: I don't just guess. Every piece of data (from PC requirements to boss strategies) is linked back to its official source, whether it's the Steam store page, developer updates, or verified player reports.
Launch-Ready: The site focuses on the retail version of the game, clearly separating it from the older Open Beta data to avoid confusion.
Clean UI: No clutter, no aggressive ads. Just the information you need to survive Fallgrim.
What's inside?
The wiki currently covers the essentials for both new Foundlings and veterans:
βοΈ Combat Guide: Breakdowns of the new mechanics (like the lack of a stamina bar for attacks) and how to master parrying and hardening.
π‘οΈ Shells & Weapons: A database of all 8 playable Shells and the available arsenal.
πΉ Boss Strategies: Verified tactics for the massive guardians you'll encounter.
π» PC Requirements: A clear checklist (yes, you really do need an SSD and 16GB RAM).
πΊοΈ Interactive Map: Notes on the interconnected world and over 80 dungeons.

π» A Note for Fellow Devs
Building this was a great exercise in content structuring. I wanted to ensure that the "confirmation status" of every fact was visible to the user. Itβs built to be a progressive web app experienceβfast, responsive, and easy to navigate on mobile while you're playing on console or PC.
I'd love to get your feedback on the site structure or the content itself!

Happy hunting, Foundlings!
