Exploring a LIFE Pilot: Hemp, Environmental Evidence and MyZubster
As MyZubster continues exploring real-world environmental pilots, we are looking at another interesting field of experimentation:
hemp and environmental monitoring.
The idea is not simply to create another agricultural application.
We want to investigate whether the infrastructure we're building for MyZubster — maps, geolocated evidence, field verification, digital identities and auditable activity histories — could support a future LIFE-oriented pilot involving hemp cultivation and environmental data.
From a field to a verifiable environmental dataset
A pilot could begin with something very simple: documenting what actually happens in the field.

Instead of treating photographs as isolated uploads, each observation could belong to a persistent pilot case.

MyZubster is already being designed around the concept of connecting real-world activity with digital evidence.

That's important: MyZubster would provide the digital evidence infrastructure, not replace scientific methodology.
Building a timeline instead of collecting random photos
One of the concepts we're testing elsewhere in MyZubster is the idea of an evidence lifecycle.

Sensitive information would remain protected, while suitable results could be made publicly accessible.

Why this could be interesting for LIFE
A future LIFE proposal needs much more than software.
It needs environmental objectives, methodology, measurable indicators, qualified partners, governance and demonstrable impact.
Our role could be narrower and practical:
build the digital infrastructure that helps document what happens during the pilot.
MyZubster could potentially support:
mapping + evidence + verification + activity history + public communication
while scientific institutions, environmental organizations, agricultural partners and other competent actors define and validate the actual methodology.
The next step
Before calling this a LIFE project, we need the right partners and a properly defined pilot.
That's the stage we're working toward.
The question we're exploring is:
Can a physical environmental experiment generate a transparent, geolocated and verifiable digital history from its first day to its final results?
If the answer is yes, hemp could become one of several environmental use cases for the broader MyZubster evidence infrastructure.
