For reliable video transmission and Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality, always opt for high-quality CAT6 Ethernet cabling over older standards. CAT6 significantly reduces crosstalk and maintains signal integrity over long distances.
2. Physical Setup and Connectivity
- Direct Cabling: Connect one end of your CAT6 cable to the camera's RJ45 port and the other end directly into a LAN port on your router or switch.
