Why 7 and 30 days
- 7 days catches launch-channel spike (Product Hunt, newsletter, Twitter thread) before the feed moves on.
- 30 days catches slow organic sales from SEO, Gumroad Discover, or Etsy search.
- Net, not gross — Gumroad's 10%+$0.50 and Etsy's 6.5%+3% change the story.
If 7-day net is weak but 30-day net is strong, your launch channel missed but the product has legs. If both are weak, fix positioning before the next SKU.
