The IHS calculation rounds the visa duration up to the nearest full year. A 30-month visa costs 3 × £1,035 = £3,105. A 36-month visa costs 3 × £1,035 = £3,105. A 37-month visa costs 4 × £1,035 = £4,140. The jump is at the year boundary, not interpolated.
For workforce planning models, this means the cost function is not linear. If your HR system calculates IHS as visa_duration_years × £1,035, it will undercharge by one year's IHS for any visa period with a non-zero remainder in months.

Exemption Logic
