The answer is simpler than it looks:
Start with the fundamentals, then build progressively.
🧩 Start with C#
Before worrying about frameworks, databases, cloud services, or architecture, you need to understand the language you're going to use.
C# gives you the foundation.
You begin with concepts such as:
- Variables and data types
- Operators
- Strings
- Conditions
- Loops
- Arrays
- Methods
- Exception handling
- Debugging
- Object-oriented programming
These may sound basic, but they're the building blocks behind much larger applications.
A developer who understands the fundamentals can learn frameworks much more effectively than someone who simply memorizes framework syntax.
Then understand .NET
Once you have a reasonable foundation in C#, the next question becomes:
What can I actually build with it?
This is where .NET becomes interesting.
