🚀 I'm excited to share my new open-source npm package: @olism/bd-geo.
@olism/bd-geo is a JavaScript/TypeScript package that provides structured geographical data for Bangladesh, including divisions, districts, upazilas/thanas, areas, and villages.
The goal is simple: make it easier for developers to work with Bangladesh's geographical hierarchy without having to maintain their own datasets.
✨ What is @olism/bd-geo?
When building applications that need Bangladesh-specific location data, developers often have to find, clean, structure, and maintain geographical datasets themselves.
This package provides that data in a developer-friendly structure that can be used directly in JavaScript and TypeScript projects.

🚀 Why I Built It
I wanted to make Bangladesh geographical data easier to consume for developers building real-world applications.
Instead of every project maintaining its own copy of Bangladesh's location data, a reusable package can provide a common structure that developers can work with directly.
There is still plenty of room to improve the dataset, APIs, documentation, and developer experience — and that's where community feedback can make a big difference.
