Question
Where can review warnings be viewed in AppGallery Connect after an app is released?
Short Answer
In AppGallery Connect, the platform provides a dedicated section where the review team’s comments and improvement notes can be viewed. By navigating to Home > App Release > Version Information > Review Comment > Review Report, you can access all observations recorded during the evaluation of the submitted version. This area also includes detailed explanations and proposed solutions from the reviewers, helping teams understand what aspects can be enhanced. Checking this path regularly ensures that any points highlighted during the review process are clearly seen, documented, and incorporated into the planning of future updates, improving both the overall quality and compliance of the application.
Applicable Scenarios
This process is useful when documenting the review feedback cycle for applications released through AppGallery Connect. After a version of the app has passed review and gone live, Huawei may still generate minor warnings or improvement notes. These are not critical issues but highlight areas that could be enhanced for better compliance and performance.
By going to Home > App Release > Version Information > Review Comment > Review Report, teams can:
- View all review-related warnings associated with the released version.
- Understand what specific issues were identified during the review process.
- Access Huawei’s suggested solutions or recommended actions for each warning.
- Use this information to plan fixes, optimizations, or UI/UX improvements for the next release.
- Maintain proper documentation of review feedback for internal quality tracking.
This documentation approach ensures that the development team has a clear reference for all post-release review notes. It also supports faster resolution of issues and enhances the overall quality of upcoming versions by systematically addressing each warning and its recommended solution.
