Use AWS AppFabric to natively connect SaaS productivity and security applications to each other and automatically normalize application data for administrators to set common policies.

In this post, you will experience the application authorization from slack to amazon s3 using aws appfabric. Here I have created an aws appfabric with app authorization as slack source and ingestion as s3 bucket destination.

Solution Overview

The blog post consists of the following phases:

1. Signing into the Slack and Create of Demo App
2. Setup of Source Slack and Destination S3 Bucket in AWS AppFabric

Phase 1: Signing into the Slack and Create of Demo App

1.Open the Slack in the browser, signing into the slack. Once signed in, create a demo app with default values.

Phase 2: Setup of Source Slack and Destination S3 Bucket in AWS AppFabric

1. Open the AWS AppFabric console. Click on getting started. Create an app bundle with AWS owned key. In the next step, create app authorization with application as chosen “slack” and give tenant id, tenant name, client id and client secret. In slack, authorization of apps require redirect url setup and enable org-readiness. Once the status of authorization is green we can further add the ingestion to select destination with schema & format required.
