Where Bash Still Wins

Amber forces you to have the compiler installed wherever you need to run things. If you're working across machines with varying setups — CI containers, VMs, a coworker's laptop — shipping a .sh file that just works is genuinely underrated. For anything under 15 lines, I stay in Bash. If I'm writing a quick wrapper to rename files or chain a few curl calls, the friction of creating an .amber file, compiling it, checking the output, and then running it is more cognitive overhead than just knowing your quoting rules.
