Just got rejected for a loan and I'm freaking out - has this happened to anyone else?

I'm still trying to process everything that's happened over the past week. Last month, I suddenly needed ₱10,000 because my mom got sick and I had to pay for her hospital bills. I thought I could just apply for a loan and get it quickly, but boy was I wrong.

I went to the bank last week and applied for a personal loan, but they rejected me because of my credit score. I was so shocked - I had no idea my credit score was that bad. They told me I could try applying for a loan with a higher interest rate, but it was way too high - 20% per annum. I'd end up paying way more than I borrowed, and I just couldn't afford that.

I was getting really worried and stressed, so I started searching online for other options. I tried applying for another loan with a different lender, but they wanted me to pay a ₱3,000 fee just to apply. I was like, are you kidding me? That's already a third of what I'm trying to borrow. I'm so frustrated and stressed out right now.

I just wish I had known about all these options and requirements before I started applying for loans. It's been a few days of constant rejection and disappointment, and I'm starting to lose hope. Has anyone else gone through something like this? I'm just feeling really overwhelmed and I don't know what to do.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, be careful when applying for loans, and make sure you do your research first. Don't be like me, blindly applying for loans without knowing the requirements and interest rates. And if you're struggling like I am, just know that you're not alone. I'm still trying to figure things out, but I'm hoping that someday soon I'll be able to get the help I need.
